A gang of pickpockets pits their wits against a veteran from a rival gang
Kei (Simon Yam) leads a group of pickpockets who look for easy pickings and live a carefree life. The emergence of a lady, who appears to each of the gang members separately in quick succession, tricking them in different ways, leads to Kei pursuing the lady to find out what her motives are, and a showdown with the boss of a rival pickpocket gang.

Xavier Jamaux - leading musician who has collaborated with the groups Air and Nouvelle Vague. He is the Soundtrack Composer for SPARROW and is currently working on the soundtrack for a new film by Hong Kong director Soi Cheang (DOG BITE DOG)
David M. Richardson - the Editor for SPARROW and long-time collaborator with Johnnie To, having worked on, amongst others, EXILED, LINGER, TRIANGLE and more recently VENGEANCE. David is also one of the Producers of PUSH starring Djimon Hounsou and Dakota Fanning.
Shan Ding - Shan is an Associate Producer of Johnnie To's production company, Milkyway Image Ltd, and has overseen the production of Milkway's films, since the landmark THE MISSION which gave rise to the trademark style of modern classic Johnnie To.
